This is a special yarn, intended primarily for socks, although knitters keep telling me how much they like it for other projects as well. It’s intended for socks because the tight twist makes your socks wear better. There is little or no pilling, despite the cashmere content of this yarn. In other words, strong + soft.
Personally, I love the look of high twist. It’s like a little string of beads. Whether you’re a devoted sock knitter or just an obsessed collector of all the yarnie goodness out there, this yarn deserves a spot in your stash.
