Jumper isn’t superwash treated. It’s a 100% Merino yarn, a very fine merino. It has just enough twist to be firm and resist pilling, but not so much that you get a high twist better suited for sturdy socks.
This is the perfect sweater yarn, named Jumper because a British knitter friend looked it over and promptly pronounced it was exactly the yarn she would choose for sweater (or Jumper as they call them in England) knitting. The combination of fiber and twist makes it soft against your skin. Don’t hesitate to use Jumper for scarves, hats, and mittens in addition to using it for your sweater knitting.
