Yak for socks? Definitely, definitely a yes. This is a strong, sturdy yarn that will produce socks you want to live in. Because of the yak content of the yarn, the colors are deep and rich and I’ve created a line of colors exclusively for our Yak bases.
Don’t stop at socks. Use this yarn as you would any luxury fingering weight yarn for sweaters, hats, mittens and so forth.
And a note about Grinch. This colorway is incredibly versatile, either alone, as a stripe or as an accent in stranded knitting. Make sure you get some while it’s available!
The Merino in this blend is superwash.
