When the mill discountinued spinning Elliebelly Sea Wool, my personal favorite sock yarn, I was really disappointed. But supply issues made it impossible to continue. This brand new yarn (February 2016) has everything I loved about my old favorite – a soft texture that isn’t lost when you knit with it but still gives good stitch definition, as well as a certain toughness so it will hold up well as a sock yarn but be special enough for shawls and other knits you may want to wrap around your neck or wear on your head or hands. The substitution of a tree based tencel for seacell (a very similar fiber) was really genius. I’m happy to be able to dye this yarn for you!
